Well, I return to this old game HoMM, I prefer the 4th one. Here's one of my favorites character - Gauldoth Half-Dead, the necromancer.
It is my first attempt to draw him, so-o-o-o =D

I have not heard of the game either, but your work is marvellous!

I've always loved necromancers...ever since I read the Abhorsen trilogy...hee hee

Well in the game they show him from another (dead) part of his face =D But there is only the face which is shown in the game (like an icon or avatar) and it inspired my fantasy.

Nice shading. I love that sort of luminous glow you've created with the blue. And his 'good' eye - :D he looks so friendly
